A lovely pic – A Daddies boy obviously since he does appear to eyeing that bottle of wine in the cool bag like a good ‘un.

Regards to Mrs P

Actually that pink plastic cup of his contains vodka and red bull... Start them early like the French do, that's what I say.

in a year or so Brockwell will be better than Ruskin- there's that Walled Garden to play hide and seek in.

We go down to Brockwell Park a bit, and Mrs P has recently joined Prambusters (basically mums running with their prams as exercise) and that is one of their stomping grounds.

Are you suffering from blogger's block btw? You don't seem to be writing much lately and you're sorely missed! The Demos report will probably be of interest if you need some inspiration!

Not blocked - my frail and elderly Mum is ill and & I'm up and down to the coast all the bloody time.

I guess we don't live too far apart. I'm five mins from Tulse Hill BR station.

Hope everything is ok.

We live 2 mins away from Loughborough Junction. Was in Brockwell Park today as it happens - and took a look in the walled garden. I'd never actually been round that bit of the park - tho Mrs P has - and didn't realise there were ponds there too.

Ah. I had a hard-to-let Council flat on the Loughborough Estate 1984-89....I recall writing to the Housing Office, as it then was, to repay an overpayment of Housing Benefit(or whatever the predecessor benefit was called) caused by an unemployed flatmate moving out and getting a reply back from the Ted Knight era Council which included the immortal line," The people of Lambeth thank you..."

It won't be long before you're really quite familiar with the Brockwell Park One O-Clock Club. I have happy memories of it.
