Proletarian prolixity

Hehehe... how about this for a bit of purple prose about the current 'crisis in capitalism'? From the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist). Genius.

The suppurating sores of decaying capitalism have once again seeped through the thin cloth woven of propaganda which keeps them semi-obscured most of the time.

Ah, Maoists are the most poetic of all the communists...

Funny isn't it how different political groups have their own language. I know Nu Labour tends to go for 'political' slogans that sounds like management speak. I do enjoy the 'running dog' style of some of the far left commentary.

Yes, it's sometimes used to define those within the group as against those outside it - those in rival groups most often.

I do wonder what ordinary punters make of Proletarian? It doesn't exactly put things simply for the half-interested...

I'd be very surprised if any ordinary punters read it. How many real-life 'proletarians' would even recognise (or want) the label these days?
