YouGov stats

The coalition's approval rating has just turned negative. Also the last two polls show us much closer to the Tories, with the LDs definitely in the 12%-13% range. This before the cuts start...

    if we are still 'popular' by Xmas I shall be really worried

    real life is not a popularity contest and honeymoons are for the starry-eyed

    all this tosh about "won't have succeeded until the Labour Party learns to love Peter Mandelson" is Blairism-at-its-worst
